    Default Graftingu

Had a try at grafting with 00 brush for the first time today, any of the pro's trying it in this weather. Per warmed duvet's a heated room may have stopped the larvae being chilled but cold enough to numb the fingers.

I wont be starting for a couple of weeks. I have some colonies with drones but it is very difficult to get cells started in cold weather in a queenright system.
The other possibility is removing a queen from a colony and grafting a couple of batches of cells into it.
the weather at the moment is not conducive to queen mating either.
larvae are pretty resilient. Drying out is a bigger problem than chilling.

Too early for me. Weather still a bit changeable and not many drones available yet
