    Hi All
    Regarding Hive roof insulation, can you use bubble jet? just i have a big role which i use in the green house. your comments greatfully recived.

    As far as I am aware "bubble jet" is a type of printer but if you mean bubble wrap then I would guess yes. I use loft insulation which looks like aluminised bubble wrap and it works fine. It's about 6mm thick but it's supposed to be equivalent to 50mm of polystyrene. If I were using bubble wrap I think I would give it 2 layers to be certain it was thick enough. The aim is to allow the underside of the crown board to warm enough to avoid condensation. I doubt if you need much insulation to achieve that so I don't think the choice of material is very critical.

    If my insulation refuses to lie flat I put a few drawing pins in the corners to hold it flat onto the crown board. I suspect you would have to do something similar with bubble wrap.
