    Default Larval Queens

Do larval queens become paracitised by varroa thus producing inferior or deformed queens ? I have never found varroa in sealed queen cells that I have pulled down at swarming time but perhaps others have !!

Yes. Had a couple this year with varroa on them. I believe that queens like bees with deformed wings are also a result of varroa (had a couple of those this year too). Although I did not bother to search the queens with deformed wings for varroa.
