    Default Bees on Laurels

While out walking the dog over past few days, I have noticed lots of honey bees on laurel hedge. They appear to be licking the leaves so my presumption is that they are gathering dew as its usually first thing in the morning. Has anyone else seen this activity before?

There is a pollen source there but also a mild source of cyanide too
