    Default Aberdeenshire visit.

Nice visit from Aberdeenshire to the queen unit again on Saturday. Good turnout of well informed visitors with lots of good questions.

This was my second visit to Murray's - and, of course, Yolanda's - queen-rearing apiary. And I'll go again and again if Murray can have us, and learn something new every time. Thanks for making time for us, Murray - particularly this year when you're so understaffed.

Here's Murray demonstrating his test for calm bees.

Damn. Wish I’d known. I’d have made a special request to join you. I have the BBKA president & chairman visiting the Highlands in August - any chance we could visit your setup then, Murray?

Yes indeed. However we wind down the grafting over the next couple of weeks and by August we do not refill the mating boxes any more. You would get the general idea however.
