    Sorry if I picked up the wrong idea but you did say clearly: " I think of spraying as instant kill of any insect it touches." Thats as clear as it gets in my book.

    A fungicide in itself may not be harmful but I understand that some mixes of chemicals (fungicides plus others) can be a problem.

    There was two votes last week on amendments to the final report titled "Prospects and challenges for the EU apiculture sector" one was to implement legal and financial for support for local bees that passed 324 for and 264 against.
    The second called for banning of the production sale and use of all neonicotinoid pesticides throughout the EU that failed 216 for and 364 against. If anyone interested I post full reply from our MP over here in Ireland he had 2000 queries from people here in Ireland to support both. fair play to him in that he replied as to what happened.
