    You may need to consider what you are going to use as a power source for the VM. Something like this attached towed behind the bee mobile should do it nicely.

    Brilliant extracting station - could see lots of robbing going on in those empty supers being stacked on the pallet, I would imagine that if there was any AFB around the whole apairy would come down with it, - but then the yanks use teramycin on a regular basis to treat their bees whether needed or not thus hiding any disease.

    Yes, I had a look at the ferret thing some time ago, the recipie calles for oxalic dissolved in ethyl spirit (ethanol). I have one of the mineral oil fogger thingys that look very similar and thought of using it but was a bit wary about vaporizing ethanol ? (from memory) into my hives and the effect it might have on the bees (killing them ? ) It would be a handy bit of kit to use in the field

    Surgical spirit (ethanol) can kill bees very easily
    Even just evaporating disolved thymol using pads you have to be careful
