    Default Newbie in Kilsyth

    Hi there. I'm thinking of starting beekeeping in Kilsyth. Can anyone point me in the right direction for some advice? I have access to all the equipment as my Mum used to keep bees. I have a south facing garden and enthusiasm! I assume I'll need a bit of experience to see me on my way, and would appreciate any pointers for any local meetings or groups. Thanks.

    Good decision! You can find all the experience you need at the Kelvin Valley Beekeepers Association and in particular Ian Ferguson:

    I'm also willing to meet up for a chat and a look over your eqt and siting, my ma'in-law stays in K'tilloch, so over there now & then.
