    hi all I have been keeping bees for 2 years now so still a learner I live in Barnsley south Yorkshire my hobbies are fishing keeping marine fish I keep ducks hens and geese but most of all I love beekeeping so if I get stuck I will be picking your brains and hope to learn things from your forum

    There are plenty of half-brained folk here Denise, so: Welcome! ... and pick away.

    An amazing number of people keep poultry as well as bees. I nearly went there myself - it was going to be either chickens or bees when I took the plunge all those years ago.

    We keep both and the poultry wander round the apiary without getting stung. As for marine fish, I'm pretty keen on those, too, but as freshly caught food!
