    Default Grafting tool

Can anyone suggest a good grafting tool? I lost mine in the grass and would like to get another one.

    Hi
1 acrilic paintbrush type 0 or 00. Perfect and costs about 2 pounds.
2 Hammered out a bit of fencing wire and filed it smooth, bent to shape & inserted into a biro works fine.
3 And when I forgot the lot, a cable tie flattened out (with my teeth) and trimmed works for me.
If you want to do 1000 grafts - the paint brush
If you want to do 20-40 a year Nr 2
If you want something in a hurry for 10 grafts the cable tie !
    all the best

Heath Robinson is alive and lives in Lindau,

I'll start with the paint brush and work my way down your list.

    Many Thanks

Thanks ! I am flattered! wet the tip of the brush and rotate it to pick up the lave. It gets much easier after you get the knack.
Dead easy to pick up really small ones!
