    Extracting last weekend … found this fellow all alone in a super of capped honey.

    Moved egg or laying worker? We'll never know. The open cells around him were honey.

    Very rarely I've had a queen cell in that position. Never knew whether or not there was a viable queen in it - or perhaps it had been a drone larva from a laying worker in a queen cup.
