    Feckless Drone kindly offered to chop up a few bee heads from a sample I sent him and this was the result.
    I'll leave it to the forum virus geeks to comment.

    The sample came from an apidea, second from the left, top row.
    It still seems fine in spite of the loss of bees.
    It was bringing in pollen this morning.
