    Default Acetic acid fumigation?

is it ok to use acetic acid fumigation on super frames? worried that fumes would absorb into comb and taint future honey crops

It's no problem but most people would not worry about fumigating super frames.
It is the frames which have had brood reared in them which present a much greater disease risk.

I lost a load of super frames to wax moth . Ever since I've fumigated with acetic acid , no problems with residual fumes . Stack the supers after about a couple of weeks , allowing ventilation and all should be ok !
I believed that supers were of no interest to wax moth and thought I was ok, I was indeed for a few years but got caught out , only the once mind

    Default Acetic acid fumigation?

I spray mine with stuff called Dipol (?) which a friend supplied as a replacement for Certan ... bacterial spores that, if ingested, kill moth larvae. Presumably Bacillus thuringiensis or similar. I've not had any problems with wax moth since doing this. I do the same with drawn brood and sealed stores.
