Default Honey Bee Health Surveillance 2013

Had an email regarding this survey asking me to participate as a random selection from the Scotland Beebase, on which I am registered. Of course said I would be delighted but was surprised at the small sample from last years survey, details of which are here for those interested http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/fa...lfare/bee/News

Worth doing Bridget, - I said yes and that's how our bee inspector picked up the outbreak in my apiary. It was so small that I could quite easily have missed it with tragic consequences for the rest of my bees. I lost 1 colony instead of possibly the lot.
