Just opening and closing little doors in sequence is easier by far
What kind of allotments are you running down there when the bees can collect all this dandelion honey ?
Same difference?! I can put in a snelgrove board if I want the bees to carry on with any Q cells they make up top in the brood?
Our allotments are right scruffy! It's London clay, claggy stuff, dries out brick-like, the window of opportunity to cultivate the soil is short, and those roots go down a long way, on other plots that is , not mine! We have grass paths also, and get a bit of clover later not much though. I'm hoping the allotment police will allow the Himalayan Balsam this year.
