    Question New Book: Practical Microscopy

Apparently this was launched by BeeCraft at the Honey Show.

    Has any one read it?

    Is it worthwhile?

    Reviews Please!

I bought a copy at the honey show but so far have only "skimmed" through it.
I think it is good as it explains lots of things that I've had to attend several courses to learn (and probably forgot)
For beginners I would say it is worthwhile.
It is a Beecraft publication and in Nov edition of Beecraft there are 2 reviews!!
Overall positive except one points out it is an introduction and misses out the technical aspects of the BBKA Microscopy examination such as the physics of light.

Yes, I had read to reviews but they were in the same magazine which publishes the book.

I have ordered a copy for myself, but as some of you might know I am one of the demonstrators at irish microscopy workshops. I have one coming up Saturday fortnight and wanted to get ealry indications as to whether I should recomend that they get a copy before coming!
