When I moved to Lochaber from Edinburgh and had to abandon my bees ('cos of Varroa) I had nightmares about losing/searching for my bees for about 2 weeks! How's crazy is that. Goes deep this bee-ing!
Twice?! In one week?!!! I like to escape to Wester Ross or other Western or Northern parts just after I've taken my bees to the hills. All that fishing and hillwalking does tend to take the mind off them a little. I'm a couple of hundred metres away from the pub where Wester Ross beekeepers gather one Friday a month. Not this one though.
