I missed a presentation from one of our members in Belfast BKA last month which by all accounts was excellent.

I have just noticed that our association secretary has put the text on the website.
This is a really good read for anyone with an interest in the relationship between bees and their pollen sources.

LOL!!

Some beekeepers are interested in genetics and enjoy purifying strains of bees or spend their summer evenings in the company of huge numbers of apideas.

That was some effort to type out her entire talk.

Haven't a clue who she had in mind, and I wasn't even there to defend myself!
I had an apidea of hers with a laying queen in my front garden until well into September and she ended up giving it to one of the other members of my BKA who had a colony go queenless late in the year.
At least it found a good home.
