Hi all
I've heard(seen?) this mentioned a number of times but never found a website for it. How do I obtain a copy/ subscribe to it please?

Hi EB

Easy. Join the SBA and you get the magazine dropping though the letter box at the start of every month, plus free insurance for up to 10 colonies and representation at Scottish and UK fora. All this for £30 per annum.

http://www.scottishbeekeepers.org.uk/services/html/membership.html

There is also a local group in Sneckie (affliliated to the SBA).

cheers

Gavin

Many thanks for that.
I have joined the sneckie branch but I have to join the SBA seperately?

Yup, the Sneckie BKA (like all Scottish local BKAs) is a separate organisation. You need to be an individual member of the SBA. Things are a bit different S of the border where local BKA membership might give you direct membership of the 'B'BKA (English BKA) through the direct affiliation of English local BKAs to the national organisation and the capitation fees added to the local BKA subscriptions. N of the border thing are different. The SBA only has individual members and I think that is the better way.

Besides, BBKA membership doesn't bring you Bee Craft.

No but it does bring you the Beekeepers News.
Ok, joining the SBA is my next step.
