my name is colin and im intrested in starting a hive up im looking for help or info as im a total novice i live in kilmarnock area hopefully there is a club near me, i think going on a day course would be of great help to me

Your nearest association is probably the one in Ayr. I know that they have at least one member in Kilmarnock and he sometimes posts here. The Ayr folk are friendly and active and their website is here:
