Hi All
We have a kickstarter project running for a replacement alternative to the traditional wooden frame that will fit nation and WBC hive. Would be interested your comments ( also if you are planning a visit to England the £1000 reward might be of interest )

regards John

Missed the boat... plastic beehive frames have been around for donkeys years.

Here is one type...http://beehivebits.co.uk/plastic-national-frames-91-p.asp

Two of your 3 bee facts from the link are wrong.

The US company Mann Lake started selling plastic frames in the UK last year.
I believe they work ok but so do wooden frames which can last for decades.
Good luck anyway but you don't appear to have anything fundamentally new in the project.

Paynes have been selling plastic frames for Langstroths for some years. They sell them as part of the complete hive package, and also separately http://www.paynesbeefarm.co.uk/polystyrene-langstroth-hive/plastic-frames-for-langstroth-brood/
